Help customers find your business on Google and in AI answers
Handbuilt AI helps local businesses improve their website, search information and enquiry journey. We review what customers can find, fix unclear or conflicting details, and build useful service pages around the work you want more of. The starting point is your business, your service area and the enquiries you want to receive.
The problem
You may have a website and still hear nothing from it. Before adding more pages, find out whether people can discover the business, understand the offer and successfully send a request.
How it works
- 1
Send your website, main services and service area through the request form.
- 2
We review search access, business information, useful content and the enquiry path.
- 3
You receive a proposed scope identifying the fixes and pages worth doing.
- 4
After agreed changes, compare qualified enquiries with the starting point.
A practical review before a content plan
We check the pages a prospective customer would use: the main service, the location information, the proof of work and the contact route. A repair enquiry needs different information from a large installation enquiry. We look for the details that help each person decide whether to contact you.
The proposal separates technical fixes, content work and enquiry handling so you can see what each part is meant to achieve.
- Clear services and real areas served
- Pages that explain the buying decision
- Accurate public business details
- A request process with visible success and failure states
SEO, AEO and the work behind the labels
You may see this work described as local SEO, answer engine optimisation or generative engine optimisation. For Google, established search fundamentals still apply to its generative features. We use those foundations and check platform-specific requirements where official guidance is available.
A useful deliverable is a page or a corrected workflow that helps a customer. A list of fashionable acronyms is not a scope of work.
Pages based on work you actually do
We organise related questions into useful pages. A service page explains the job, a guide helps someone make a decision, and a project example shows actual work. Real photographs, service limitations and a clear next step make those pages specific to the business.
Pavneet runs Ironwood Grounds and built its website and quote-request workflow. It is his own contracting business. That experience informs the practical approach to service information and requests that need an answer.
From a search result to your inbox
Discovery is only the start. We review the form, the saved request, the notification and who follows up. If an email fails, there needs to be a way to find the enquiry. If a visitor submits twice, it should not be mistaken for two different prospects.
Phone answering and automated follow-up can be scoped separately when they solve a problem you have. You do not need to buy every system to improve one part of the journey.
A scope and a baseline you can understand
Send the website, the service you want more enquiries for, the area you cover and what currently happens when someone contacts you. We use that information to propose the work and quote it. There is no fixed visibility package price on this page.
Progress is reviewed using relevant enquiries alongside search clicks and dated AI-answer observations. We can commit to agreed work and reporting. Search positions, assistant recommendations and a particular number of enquiries remain outcomes to measure, not promises we control.
What you get
- A prioritised website and enquiry review
- A proposed page map with distinct purposes
- An agreed implementation scope and quote
- A baseline for reviewing relevant enquiries
Common questions
Can you guarantee ChatGPT or Grok will recommend me?
No. We improve the information and website we can control and measure what happens. Assistant recommendations and search positions depend on systems outside our control.
Do I need a new website?
Not necessarily. The review starts with the site you have. A proposal should explain which existing pages or workflows can be improved before recommending a rebuild.
Do you work with businesses outside Surrey?
Handbuilt is based in Surrey, BC. Tell us your service area and requirements so we can confirm whether the project fits; website and technical work can often be reviewed remotely.
What should I send with my request?
Your website, the services you want more enquiries for, your service area and a short description of what is not working today. Do not send account passwords in the form.
